13. AI Search Connector (Model Context Protocol)

Yolando offers an optional AI search connector (the "Connector") that lets you
access your Yolando workspace from a third-party AI assistant that supports the
Model Context Protocol ("MCP"), such as Anthropic's Claude and OpenAI's ChatGPT.
The Connector is off by default and operates only after you explicitly authorize
it through an OAuth 2.1 consent flow in which you choose the permissions you
grant. This Section 13 supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy and, with
respect to information processed through the Connector, governs in the event of
any conflict with the other provisions of this Privacy Policy or with our Terms
of Service.

13.1 Information processed through the Connector.

  • Authorization information. When you connect, we issue and store authorization
records associated with your account: your user identifier, your account email
address, your workspace role(s), the permission scopes you grant (read
brand-search analytics, read competitor intelligence, read and/or manage
marketing content, and/or write), and access- and refresh-token records. The
Connector does not collect payment-card information.

  • Workspace information you request. When the AI assistant calls a Connector tool
at your direction, we return the workspace information covered by the scopes you
granted. Depending on those scopes this may include your topics and tracked
prompts, prompt-execution results and discoverability, citation, and reputation
analytics, competitor records and trend data, your competitive-intelligence
feed, optimization recommendations, generated content items, brand-voice
profiles, and website-vitals reports. If you grant write permission, the
assistant may also create, update, archive, or delete these records at your
    direction.

  • Tool-exchange information. To operate the Connector we exchange tool
definitions, the inputs the assistant sends, and the results we return with the
AI provider that operates the assistant.

13.2 Who receives Connector information. To operate the Connector, the workspace
information you request and the tool-exchange information described in Section
13.1 are transmitted to the AI provider whose assistant you are using — Anthropic,
PBC (which operates Claude) and/or OpenAI, L.L.C. (which operates ChatGPT). The
authorization information described in Section 13.1 (including your account email
address) is stored by Yolando to operate and secure the Connector and is not
transmitted to the AI provider.

Once your information leaves the Yolando MCP server in response to a tool call, it
is handled under that provider's own privacy terms. Its subsequent retention and
use — including whether the provider retains it or uses it to operate, improve, or
train its models — are governed by that provider's terms and controls, not by
Yolando, and Yolando does not direct the provider to retain or train on it. You
should review the privacy terms of the AI assistant you use before enabling the
Connector.

13.3 How we use Connector information. We use Connector information solely to
authenticate your request, to authorize it against the scopes you granted, and to
serve the specific tool calls the assistant makes on your behalf. We do not use
Connector information for advertising, we do not use it to train Yolando's or any
third party's models, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties except
the AI provider identified in Section 13.2 and the infrastructure providers
identified in Section 13.6. When you create content through the Connector, your
account email is used internally to send a Yolando notification about the request;
that email is not returned to the AI assistant.

13.4 Retention and revocation.

  • Token lifetimes. Authorization codes expire ten minutes after issuance. Access
tokens issued to the AI assistant are short-lived (one hour); refresh tokens
last up to thirty days, after which re-authorization is required.

  • How to disconnect. You can end the Connector's access at any time by (i)
removing the Yolando connector in your AI assistant, which stops new tool calls,
and (ii) disconnecting it from Settings > Connected Apps in your Yolando account,
which revokes every token issued to that assistant; the assistant then loses
access on its next tool call.

13.5 How we protect Connector information. Connector access requires a valid,
scoped, time-limited bearer token obtained through an OAuth 2.1 authorization-code
flow with PKCE. Every tool call is authorized against the specific scopes you
granted before any workspace information is returned. The security measures in
Section 5 otherwise apply.

13.6 Subprocessors. We host the Yolando MCP server and the workspace data it
returns on Google Cloud Platform. The Connector does not use the payment processor
named in Section 4.
