Adding Artifacts

The Add Artifacts feature allows you to supercharge Yolando's understanding of your brand by adding internal knowledge and proprietary materials that aren't publicly available.

These documents are added to your custom brand knowledge base (RAG), giving Yolando the deep context it needs to generate more accurate, specific, and impactful recommendations, insights, and content. This ensures all AI outputs reflect your actual brand, not just what can be found on the web.

The Impact of Uploaded Resources

Once uploaded, your documents are securely indexed and used to inform several key areas of the platform:

  • Improve Content Accuracy and Relevance: Ensure generated content correctly references specific product features, integrations, pricing models, and internal policies.


  • Generate Smarter Strategic Insights: Give Yolando the context of your unique market position, target customers, and differentiators, leading to more tailored competitive intelligence.

  • Reinforce Your Brand Voice: Provide Yolando with your official brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and terminology to ensure all generated content is perfectly aligned.

Your Data is Secure: Uploaded documents are processed privately and are used only within your workspace's knowledge base. They are never shared, indexed publicly, or used to train external models.

When to Upload Documents

You'll get the most value from this feature when you upload files that fill in the gaps left by public information. Consider uploading documents when:

  • You have important brand materials that are not available online (e.g., internal messaging guides, product one-pagers, campaign briefs).

  • Your public website doesn't tell the whole story about your technical features, brand narrative, or company history.

  • You want AI-generated content to reflect hyper-accurate feature language and pre-approved messaging.

  • You've recently rebranded, launched a new product, or updated your messaging and need Yolando to learn the changes instantly.

How to Upload Documents

  1. Navigate to Knowledge Base > Add Artifacts.

  2. Click the Upload File button or simply drag and drop your file(s) into the designated area.

  3. Select one or more files from your computer.

  4. Click Upload.

Yolando will then process and index the content, making it immediately available to the RAG engine for use in all future recommendations and content generation tasks.

Best Practices

  • Prioritize Current and Official Documents: Upload the most up-to-date versions of your brand guidelines, product specs, and messaging frameworks to ensure accuracy.

  • Avoid Outdated or Irrelevant Information: Do not upload old documents or files containing sensitive customer data that is not relevant for content generation.

Keep Your Knowledge Base Fresh: Periodically review your uploaded documents. Delete and re-upload files whenever your product, pricing, or messaging undergoes a significant change.
