AI Discoverability: Overview Dashboard
The AI Discoverability Overview is your home base in Yolando. It provides a high-level snapshot of your brand’s AEO performance and key metrics, benchmarked directly against your tracked competitors. This is the first place to check to understand your overall standing and spot significant trends.
Why This Page Matters:
Quickly Assess Your Overall Performance: Get an instant read on your core metrics and see how they are trending over time.
Answer "Are We Winning?": Instantly see how you stack up against your key competitors in the Competitive Leaderboard.
Spot Significant Changes: Identify sudden drops or gains in your Discoverability or a competitor's Share of Voice, that requires immediate investigation.
Determine Where to Dig Deeper: Use the high-level data here to guide your analysis on the more detailed Topics, Platforms, or Citations pages.
Metric Definitions
For detailed definitions, formulas, and explanations of all metrics mentioned here (like Discoverability and Share of Voice), please refer to our Yolando Glossary.
Global Filtering & Competitor Mode
The following controls are available on the Overview page and will remain active as you navigate through all other pages in the Insights section (Topics, Platforms, etc.).
Filtering Your Insights
You can slice and dice all the data across the AI Discoverability section to focus on what matters most. A Reset button will appear whenever custom filters are applied.
You can filter by:
Date Range: Choose a preset range (Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, etc.) or select a custom date range. All metrics will show the average for the selected period, with a comparison to the previous period.
Example: If you select "Last 7 Days," the change percentage will show how the metrics compare to the 7 days prior.
AI Platforms: Isolate data from specific AI platforms (e.g., see your performance only in ChatGPT).
Topics: Focus on a specific set of topics to see how you rank in those key business areas.
Competitor Mode
This powerful feature allows you to see the entire platform from a competitor's point of view.
How it Works: Use the "Viewing as" dropdown menu at the top of the page and select any of your tracked competitors.
What it Does: You will enter "impersonation mode." All charts and metrics—Discoverability, Share of Voice, Reputation—will now be shown from that competitor's perspective, as if you were logged into their account.
Exiting: Simply click the “Exit competitor mode” button on the top banner, or select your own brand from the dropdown menu to return to your standard view.*
Components of the Overview Page
Competitive Leaderboard
This is the central widget on the Overview page, providing a direct, ranked comparison between your brand and your tracked competitors.
What it Shows: The leaderboard ranks all tracked brands on two core metrics: Discoverability and Share of Voice.
How to Use It:
Click the header for either "Discoverability" or "Share of Voice" to sort the list and see who is leading for that specific metric.
By default, the table shows your brand alongside your top 4 competitors. You can expand the table to view the rankings for all brands you are tracking.
